NOW I know there will be a lot of people asking me if I followed instruction on the web on how to get the FMC going and to answer that YES yes I did { hence my frustration } HOWEVER the FMC is STILL not loading.

The C172SP does not have a navigraph extension pack such as one that you purchase with the Phenom100 or 300. For the C172, all you need to do is update the navdata.
