Webb7 apr. 2024 · Three days ago I applied yum update that included update for mssql-server as well. and ever since I can't connect to the server, getting the following error: Sqlcmd: Error: Microsoft ODBC Driver 17 for SQL Server : Login failed for user 'sa'. Reason: Server is in script upgrade mode. Only administrator can connect at this time.. Webb29 juni 2011 · Can you also check SQL Server Error Logs and post them here because from this error it seems during upgrade when Hotfix/SP was running scripts to upgrade metadata its still in that phase. Next as it says try connecting using ADMIN account so have you tried using SA or some other account having SYSADMIN permissions?
